RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS
Stations of the Cross
On Thursday morning at 11am, Year 5 will be leading the solemn prayer of the Stations of the Cross. This is a 14-step devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ's last day on Earth as a man. All are welcome to pray with us in the Hall on Thursday.
Reconciliation
Wednesday evening at 7pm Year 3 students celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation. All students were very well prepared by their teachers in class and at the four workshops. A big thank you goes to parents for placing value on this sacrament and supporting their children along this important journey.
Confirmation
Thank you to the parents who attended the Parent Information session last Thursday evening. At the masses on the weekend of 22 and 23 April information forms will be distributed and children’s names will be taken to register for this sacrament after all masses.
Project Compassion
Please return any Project Compassion boxes to the office before the end of school on Thursday.
Wednesday Mass and Faith & Learning visits
Faith and Learning visits will resume in Week 2 next term. The first grade in Week 2 will be Year 6 and then in Week 3 it will be Year 4. After mass we would love all of the families to join their children in the classroom to enjoy a snapshot of their learning. We warmly invite all parents, family members or friends who wish to join the children at any of the Wednesday masses.
All mass times can be found in the All Saints Parish Bulletin and all other important information. A link can be found on the Parish Website: https://www.dow.org.au/parish/all-saints-catholic-parish-shellharbour-city
