During Lent, 4A talked about how we can be more like Jesus in what we say and what we do. We also made some Lenten promises that we could reflect on during this Lenten season.

RUBY - I can be more like Jesus by using apologies for people in my life who have hurt me and help people in need. I will try to be as good as I can.           

HANNAH - I can become more like Jesus by using loving words and not yelling. Also I could give money to the poor and I could pray for others through their tough times.        

OLIVIA - I can become more like Jesus by walking up to the bully and standing up for the person who got bullied.                   

AZARIAH - I can be more like Jesus by encouraging others, thinking before I speak and using manners.

Some of our Lenten Promises

During this season of Lent …

LYDIA - I will give up youtube because I have friends and family that I can spend time with and love to share, plus I don’t need youtube to live.                     

SEBASTIAN - I will pray for the Syrian and Turkey people because people have died for nothing. 

MASON - I will pray for the people who have nothing and the people who that never had the stuff we people have.     

KODA - I will pray for my great grandad, he just went into hospital and he is now in a nursing home.

FINN - I will show kindness by respecting other people’s opinions and just helping people who need it the most.
