In Science, 2L have started a new unit called 'Paddock to Plate'. It is about how we get food and other products from the farm to our homes. This week we learnt about how potatoes are made into potato chips. The process goes like this:

• The potatoes are picked from the ground
• They are taken to the factory
• They are cleaned, sliced, fried, seasoned and then bagged
• The chip packets are taken to the shops for us to buy!

Lots of people in 2L like salt and vinegar or plain flavored chips, but some like chicken, BBQ, cheese and onion or even burger flavoured!
