PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

NAZARETH SCHOOL PRAYER

Lord, teach me to be generous,

Teach me to serve you as you deserve;

To give and not to count the cost,

To fight and not to heed the wounds,

To toil and not to seek for rest,

To labor and not to ask for reward,

Save that of knowing that I do your will.

Amen

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am thrilled to announce the arrival of some new members to our school family. Two of our staff members have recently welcomed beautiful babies into the world, and we couldn’t be happier for them.

Please join me in congratulating:

- Mrs Penelope Constable, teacher of 2L, on the birth of her first child, a son, Alistair.

- Mr Andrew Edwards, Assistant Principal, on the birth of his third daughter, Millie.

We wish them all the joy and happiness that comes with parenthood, and we look forward to the day when we can meet their little ones.

This year, we will be celebrating Grandparents Day on the Feast of Saint Joachim and Saint Anne - Wednesday 26 th July 2023. This is a special day where we honour and appreciate the important role that grandparents play in our lives. Please save the date and keep an eye on the newsletter and COMPASS for further details.

I invite all of our parents to read Lighting the Way Together: Parent - School Partnership Framework. It has been developed to support the creation and maintenance of the important partnership between the school and home. It outlines for parents and the school the principles and expectations of the parent-school partnership.

As we reach the middle of the 2023 school year, it is important to reflect on the impact of the strategies implemented by the school so far in reaching the annual improvement plan goal outlined below:

By the end of 2023, community engagement will be enhanced so that parents and carers have deepened knowledge and understanding of the faith, wellbeing and learning at Nazareth.

I wish you all the very best for the last two weeks of Term 2 and hope that you are able to take advantage of the opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss their wellbeing and learning progress for Semester 1 2023.
