PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Parents and Carers,
This week is National Child Protection Week. National Child Protection Week is an annual event in Australia that aims to promote a safe and supported life for every child, now and into the future. The theme for this year’s campaign is “Where we start matters”. The campaign continues to champion the message – Every child in every community needs a fair go. These RESOURCES have been made available for parents.
On behalf of the staff and students, I would like to express my gratitude for the exceptional support and enthusiasm you showed during our recent Book Week and Father's Day celebrations.
Book Week was a resounding success, and it wouldn't have been possible without your support. Your creativity and dedication were evident in the fantastic costumes and the enthusiasm with which you embraced the spirit of the event.
In addition to Book Week, we celebrated Father's Day with great joy and appreciation for all of the dads and supportive males in the lives of our students. Your presence during our various Father's Day activities (gift stall, breakfast, liturgy, Sunday mass) brought immense happiness to the children. By showing your love and support, you have shown your children the importance of family and positive role models.
As partners in education, your involvement plays a crucial role in creating a nurturing learning environment for our students. Your support is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to many more successful events in the future.
Finally, I would like to remind you that I will be on long service leave for Week 10 of this Term and weeks 1 and 2 of Term 4. I thank Mr Danny Sykes for his willingness to act as Principal of Nazareth in my absence.
