In the Learning Centre this term we have engaged in a range of learning activities. 

In Maths we have been focusing on the concepts of Data and 3D shapes. In Data we went to the year 3 classrooms and collected information on their favourite foods. We observed cars outside and collected data on which colour car went past the most. When learning about 3D shapes, we have learnt that 3D shapes have faces, edges and vertices. We learnt that 3D shapes have 3 dimensions; length, height and width. 

In English, we have been learning new things. In finger gym we are building our fine motor skills. In writing, we have had an author focus on Robert Munsch. Mr Munsch has written over 60 childrens books and he is 1 of 9 children. 

This term we were very lucky to have a donation from the Shellharbour Rotary club. They gave us new classroom resources including; putty, kinetic blocks, new sand timers, and lots of new games. Thank you to Shellharbour Rotary.
