Calling all Primary School Picassos - Name the Crane for the new Shellharbour Hospital!
The new Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project is inviting local primary school children to take part in a “Name the Crane” competition.
As part of the construction of the new Shellharbour Hospital, two tower cranes will be on-site and are integral to the delivery of the new seven-storey hospital. The first crane arrived this week, with the second scheduled to follow in the coming months.
To help celebrate the cranes’ arrival, the competition will give students the chance to name each crane. The Prizes include:
- An iPad for each of the winners
- Official crane naming ceremony including a photo opportunity with the flag of their chosen name to be hoisted above the crane.
To enter, students need to colour in the attached entry form and tell us what they would name the crane and why.
The best crane pictures will be displayed in Shellharbour Hospital.
Please feel free to include competition details in your school newsletters and e-news.
Competition closes: 5pm, Friday 2 May 2025
Entry form and terms and conditions visit: shellharbourdevelopment.health.nsw.gov.au and scan and send your entry to:
