PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Parents and Carers,

Enrolment interviews for Kindergarten 2026 are now complete. On Monday 23 June offers of placement will be sent to families. It is a privilege to meet with families and listen to their hopes and dreams as they embark on their journey at Nazareth. A consistent message heard from families is that Nazareth enjoys a positive reputation as a school of quality education, welcome, and inclusion within the wider community. This affirmation from families reflects the dedication and hard work of our staff, students, and parents in creating a nurturing environment for all.

CatholicCare are once again offering free parent workshops for our school and this year they are presenting a workshop on Emotional Coaching. The presentation will be held on Wednesday 25 June at 5:00pm in the school library. The session will explore how to identify and regulate your child’s emotions. For further details and information on how to register please refer to the attached flyer.

Semester 1 Reports will be available on Compass from Wednesday 2 July. Please take a moment to read the reporting information contained in this newsletter. It provides an overview of the semester reporting format that is consistent across Diocese of Wollongong Catholic Schools. Learning conversations for students in Years 1 to 6 occurred at the end of Term 1. Kindergarten learning conversations will take place at the commencement of Term 3, bookings will be made available to parents in the coming weeks.

This term the Parents and Friends Association have introduced a new initiative to support local and grow our school community via the School Family Community Business Handbook. To get involved in this wonderful initiative please complete the School Community Business Handbook Submission by close of business tomorrow.

Wishing you a wonderful long weekend,

Mr Matt Downes

(Principal)
