PRINCIPALS MESSAGE
Thank you to the students and staff members who have welcomed me warmly to Nazareth Catholic Primary School this week. I have been replacing Mr Dempsey while he has some leave and have throughly enjoyed my visits to classrooms and talking to the children. Mr Dempsey will be back on Monday

On the 31st July we celebrated the Feast Day of St Ignatius. The Ignatian exercise we pray in our school community, known as the Awareness Examen, helps us become aware of the various movements we experience in our days. In the period of prayer, we asked ourselves: "What am I most grateful for?" Well what event today gave me joy? Which conversation left me feeling encouragement and peace? Can I name an encounter that left me feeling hopeful and confident? We also asked "What do I find in most difficult to be grateful for?' Let's unpack this one too. What event stole my joy today? What conversation wrenched away my peace and left me feeling at a loss? Which encounter directed me into spirals of negativity with self and others?
