RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS

Confirmation Dove

Confirmation

Congratulations to the Year 6 who, on Tuesday and Wednesday evening, celebrated their final sacrament at primary school, the sacrament of Confirmation. Year 6 students joyfully embraced the beautiful experience of Confirmation, feeling a deep sense of faith and community. Bishop Brian led the Mass with warmth and reverence, encouraging us all to grow stronger in our spiritual journey. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents and caregivers who supported their child on the journey to receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Your presence at the Mass and the workshops was a powerful witness to your child of the importance of faith and community. Thank you for modelling strong values and for nurturing your child’s spiritual growth. Your involvement and encouragement have made this a meaningful and memorable experience for our students.

Mini Vinnies Winter Appeal - Cosy Clothes Day and Bake Sale

A huge thank you to the Mini Vinnies team who ran a fun and very successful Cosy Clothes Day and Bake Sale. Mini Vinnies spent the weekend baking and brought in some very delicious treats for students to purchase. A massive $1,180 was raised at the Bake Sale and another $320.40 was raised from hot chocolates over the previous week. All monies are going to support the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal to provide warm food and clothes for people in our community this winter. Thank you so much to the parents and grandparents who supported us in this event by helping students bake and donating to this cause. Without you, it would not be possible. The team is already working on some fabulous ideas for our next fundraiser.
