LEARNING WITH 4A
In 4A we have recently started reciprocal reading groups. Reciprocal reading groups provides opportunities for students to participate in a group to bring meaning to a text. It involves four comprehension strategies: predicting, questioning, monitoring and summarising. Reciprocal teaching benefits all students as it encourages students to read, effectively use four comprehension strategies and understand more challenging texts.
All students worked cooperatively with their classmates by listening to each other, waiting their turn to speak, including everyone in group discussions and staying on task.
4A looks forward to participating in more group work tasks.
