PRIMARY SCHOOLS CHESS COMPETITION
On Tuesday of Week 4, 15 students across Years 2-6 attended the Primary Schools Chess Competition at Amity College Illawarra.
Nazareth entered 15 students: Freddy (2E), Rafa (2L), Christian (3L), Aditya (3H), Mason and Liam (4A), Hugo and Emmanuel (4R), Zach (5B), Ava (50), Yazmin, Lani, Abi, Luca (6R) and Lucy (6U).
These students competed against 90 other students from schools all over the Illawarra. Nazareth students had a wonderful day, playing 7 games each! All our students achieved exceptional results and won several games throughout the day!
For any interested families, NSW Chess League is holding their Wollongong Winter Junior Chess Competition on August 24th!
