First Holy Communion

Thank you to all of the Year 3 parents who have committed their child for the sacrament of First Holy Communion. By now you have completed the enrolment form and paid your $25.00 fee. If you did not receive a receipt, and would like a receipt, please contact the Parish Office to have one sent out to you.

This weekend at mass you will choose your preference of workshop day and time for you and your child to attend in Term 4. This form will be completed via a QR code after any of the masses this weekend. If you do not have the technological capability of completing the QR code, there will be a paper form for you to fill out, however, you will not be able to take this form away; it will need to be completed at church.

Just a reminder that the celebration of the Sacrament of First Holy Communion will take place on Sunday, 23 November at 11am. Please ensure that you keep that weekend free.

Catholic Mission Launch / Socktober

Each year, in October, Catholic Mission celebrates the work of Mission in Australia and around the world. 

In October Nazareth School will celebrate Mission Month with Socktober, which is a fun and educative celebration of World Mission Month. It is a comprehensive education, formation, and fundraising initiative that engages school communities and children in the global work of Mission. Using the world game of soccer, Socktober connects students in Australia with the children they support, incorporating learning, prayer, advocacy, and financial support for children and communities in need around the world. Wednesday Mass and Faith & Learning visits

This week Year 4 was to attend Mass, however, the rain was too heavy to allow students to walk safely to church so students remained in their classroom. Next week Year 1 will be attending Wednesday mass at 9am and all families are warmly invited to join their children back in the classroom to explore their learning.
