Children’s Liturgy
Children’s Liturgy has now commenced at All Saints church at the 5pm Saturday and 9am Sunday masses. Following the Gospel reading, all primary school aged children will be invited to move to the Children's Liturgy room where a leader will use simplified readings, songs, discussions, and activities like role-playing to help them understand God's message and connect it to their lives. They then return to you later in the service, just before the collection.
Socktober Reminder
Our Socktober Shootout will be held on Friday, 31 October (Week 3). This day will be a mufti day for all students and they are asked to bring a donation on the day. This year we are raising awareness and funds for communities in Zambia, to help ensure children have access to food and education, giving them the chance to build a brighter future. Students will make their own class ‘sock’ ball and each class will try to blast their ball past Mr Edwards! There will be a K-2 competition and a Years 3-6 competition. More information is to follow.
Save The Date
This year All Saints Day and All Souls day falls on a Saturday and Sunday. We would normally have the opportunity of a whole school mass. In place of this, Stage 2 and Stage 3 will be hosting mass on Sunday, 2 November in commemoration of All Saints Day. More information will follow.
Wednesday Mass and Faith & Learning visits
This week, Year 2 attended Mass on Wednesday at 9am and it was great to see so many families joining their children back in the classroom to explore their learning. Next week Year 6 will have Faith and Learning, beginning with mass at 9am and we look forward to seeing as many families as possible.
