On the weekend of the 23rd of November, some Year 3 students took part in the sacrament of The First Holy Communion. During the lead up this weekend, students in Year 3 participated in a Communion Reflection Day where they were able to reflect on the process and decide what receiving it meant to them. The Communion Reflection Day consisted of rotating activities where students discussed the parts of the Mass, The Last Supper and what it meant to be a branch on Jesus' vine. Students also got the opportunity to speak with their peers about their feelings. Year 3 students would like to thank their parents for all the hard work they put into getting them prepared for the big day.
