FEAST of ST IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA
On the 31st July, we celebrate the Feast day of St Ignatius of Loyola. Nazareth Catholic Primary School embraces the spiritual tradition of St Ignatius of Loyola, striving to develop the whole person so as to find God in all things. The Ignatian spirituality is a spirituality for everyday life. It insists that God is an everyday part of our lives and is active in everything we do. Next Friday, our assembly prayer will recognise this occasion.
ST VINCENT DE PAUL WINTER APPEAL
On Friday 7th August, Nazareth will be holding a pyjama day to support the St Vincent de Paul winter appeal. Students are asked to come dressed in their pyjamas for the day and bring along a gold coin donation. The school’s Mini Vinnies team will be promoting the event over the next two weeks.
