LEARNING with 3H
In Term 3, students are learning about Places that are similar and different in Geography.
Throughout this unit of work students will focus on examining natural and human features of Australia and the diverse characteristics of Australia’s neighbouring countries. Explore the different climates, settlement patterns and demographic characteristics of places and use this information to imagine what it would be like to live in different places. Students will also consider how people’s perceptions of places are the basis for actions to protect places and environments.
This week students identified and located Australia's states and territories, named the capital cities of Australia and identified iconic Australian landmarks.
