I continue to thank all parents/carers for your ongoing cooperation relating to aspects of COVID -19 restrictions, particularly the tightening of restrictions for schools as announced on Monday by the NSW government. I remain committed to communicating with you regularly, to keep you updated on all relevant information.

As previously noted, I am very aware of the impact of these restrictions on our school, but in particular the impact on our current Year 6. Due to catastrophic bush fire conditions last December and COVID -19 restrictions this year, our Year 6 students have missed out on many significant events and experiences. The tightened restrictions for schools unfortunately continue to impact Year 6 specifically in relation to graduation and end of year activities. The NSW Government has indicated that all restrictions applying to schools will be reviewed at the beginning of next Term. In the mean time I reassure everyone, particularly our Year 6 students and their parents/carers that I am carefully discerning the options that present so that Year 6 students can be acknowledged appropriately at the end of the year, including the families who will be leaving Nazareth after many years of association with the school. I will keep everyone informed.

Please remember in your prayers the vast number of people deeply impacted by COVID-19, in particular the families who have loved ones in aged care.
