In Year 1 we have been learning about ‘Moses and the Burning Bush'. We are very excited to tell you about the story.

Moses was looking after a flock of sheep when he saw a burning bush. He walked to take a closer look at the strange sight and he heard a voice calling his name. Moses said ‘Here I am’. The voice was God speaking to Moses! God told Moses that he had seen the suffering of the Israelites in Egypt. God asked Moses to go to Egypt and ask the Pharaoh to let the Israelites go. Moses said yes and he lead the  people to freedom.
