ENVIRONMENT NEWS
Students are given the opportunity to bring in a snack for the morning session of learning. This snack is in the form of a piece of fruit or a vegetable. When preparing crunch and sip, we request that it is cut up and placed it in a reusable container in order to reduce waste.
BIN NEWS
We have just introduced new FOGO bins into our classrooms and on our playgrounds. Classes have been participating in lessons in order to learn where their rubbish and food scrape need to be placed. We would love it if you could continue these conversations at home so that students gets lots of practice of where things need to go.

Due to COVID restrictions, we had to place a hold on waste free Wednesdays. Now that things have settled down, we are able to reintroduce it. We ask that where possible, students bring a waste free lunch each day. On Wednesdays, students will come around to classes and tick of the names on the students with a waste free lunch. They will go into the draw to win a prize at our Friday assembly. Furthermore, the class with the greatest number of students participating will win the trophy (Waste Free Gnome) to have in their classroom for the week.
