ATHLETE’S FOOT SHELLHARBOUR
Last week we had the pleasure of receiving a cheque for $315 from the Athletes Foot, Shellharbour. The Athletes Foot donates $5 from any pair of shoes back to our school. This initiative will continue for the remainder of the year. Just mention that your child, grandchild, niece or nephew attends Nazareth Catholic Primary School and the money will be directed to our school at the end of the year.
HARMONY WEEK
Harmony Week was from the 17th – 23rd March. Harmony Week celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. Look at how classes at Nazareth celebrated.
SHELLHARBOUR RELAY FOR LIFE
The 2019 Shellharbour Relay for Life will be held this weekend April 6-7. Relay for Life is a community fundraising challenge coordinated by the Cancer Council. All funds raised are distributed back into the local community for support services for cancer patients, including accommodation, transport and treatment. It is also used to develop prevention programs that educate the community on how to reduce the risk of cancer; and research which helps to find better treatments for cancer and better screening to detect cancer early.
