PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
As Term 3 comes to an end, I wish to acknowledge the efforts of all Nazareth students for what they have achieved during this extended time of remote learning. The support from parents/ carers has been magnificent, but I acknowledge that it has been exceptionally challenging for all families. The staff have been amazing and I know that all parents/carers and children join with me to thank our fantastic staff for the manner in which they have responded to the delivery of remote learning and the provision of supervision.
Nazareth’s classification of Level 4 (remote learning and other restrictions outlined by NSW Health) is expected to remain in place for the commencement of Term 4. As at the time of writing this newsletter, the NSW Government’s return to school dates remain in place. Kindergarten and Year 1 to return Monday October 25, Year 6 and Year 2 to return Monday November 1 and Years 3,4 & 5 to return Monday November 8. Extensive planning is well underway so as to welcome children back to school as per the set return dates.
Please refer to more details in the separate letter sent today from myself and Peter Hill Director of Schools.
During the 2 weeks ahead I hope that everyone is able to rest and enjoy a break from the demands of remote learning. Focus on the things that you are grateful for and remember to pray for those seriously impacted by this pandemic. Take care.
