RELIGIOUS EDUCATION with 5B
5B have been doing some outstanding work during their remote learning. We have a class Zoom at 8:45am each morning and almost everyone is on there everyday.

In Religion 5B have been learning about ‘Creation’. We have been discussing ways we can be good stewards of creation and how we can leave our world in a better place. Students designed a t-shirt letting the world know they are planet protectors.

We have been discussing the symbol of a mandala, which represents wholeness, and all things encompassed by God, a mandala’s centre point symbolises that God is the centre of our lives. A mandala is a decorative picture made up of geometric shapes and patterns, which each represent something important to the person designing the mandala. Students were asked to think about things which are important to them, then think about patterns and symbols that might represent those things. Students were given the opportunity to draw a mandala or create a mandala using aspects of creation (things they find outside).
5B are really looking forward to coming back to school in Term 4.
