CONFIRMATION

The very special sacrament of Confirmation for Year 6 students will be held on Saturday, 4 December at 11am and Sunday, 5 December at 11am.  Year 6 students will engage in a retreat workshop on Thursday, 2 December here at school to prepare for their special day.  

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Year 3 will be celebrating the sacrament of First Holy Communion on Saturday, 18 December at 11am and Sunday, 19 December at 11am. If there is any information that requires finalising at the Parish Office, please do so by this Friday.

RECONCILIATION

Current Year 2 students are requested to attend any of this weekend’s masses at All Saints Parish Church to begin the enrolment process for Reconciliation, which will be undertaken in Term 1.  The sacrament of Reconciliation is a prerequisite for First Holy Communion.

Thank you to all of the parents who are supporting their children in preparing for these sacraments.  These special events do not happen without the support and guidance from you, the parents.

ADVENT

This Sunday, 28 November is the commencement of the season of Advent.  This is the time of preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ at Christmas.  Students will participate in a small liturgy based in their classrooms on Monday to celebrate this special time.

RIPPLES PODCAST

In this different time that we are experiencing, sometimes we need to shut down and clear our minds of the things going on around us. The podcast Ripples: Inspired Voices, Treasured Stillness was developed in response to COVID-19 and from a desire to find new ways to ‘be’ in this environment.

This podcast was developed for staff and parents on-going spiritual formation. It seeks to offer a space where people can draw on the wisdom of a series of guest speakers and can experience some treasured stillness through meditation. Practices like these create a ripple effect. They have the potential to impact the way we respond to family, friends, colleagues, to creation and to our loving God.
