1H are very excited for the season of Advent to start! We have been learning about the correct colours of Advent that we see in the church during Mass and the colours we use to decorate our prayer space in the classroom. We can’t wait to decorate the prayer space with purple!

To prepare for the beginning of Advent, we have listened to and watched the story of the Annunciation where Mary was visited by the angel Gabriel and was told that she was going to have a baby. The children in 1H created an artwork of the Annunciation, here are some of the wonderful works of art.
