This year we had 26 Stage 3 students participate in the Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiad (APSMO). The Maths Olympiad teaches major problem solving strategies and strengthens students' mathematical intuition. The students were challenged to develop flexibility when solving challenging mathematical problems and persisted to find solutions and reflect on their strategies.
Congratulations to all who participated in this year's Maths Olympiad, and a special congratulations to Millie Tompkin who achieved the highest individual score at Nazareth.
