2021 ANNUAL WOLLONGONG DIOCESE SPORTS COUNCIL AWARDS

Each year the Wollongong Diocese Sports Council acknowledges outstanding sporting achievement. Unfortunately, the formal presentation evening was not able to be conducted in the traditional face to face manner but was held virtually and a wide range of recipients from Primary and Secondary schools across the Diocese were acknowledged. In this context Nazareth school congratulates one of our Year 6 students, Ryland Coelho for his outstanding sporting achievements. Ryland has been awarded a Diocese of Wollongong Sports Council Primary Medallion. Ryland receives this award because of his selection in two Wollongong Diocesan representative teams (Rugby Union and Rugby league). As a team member of both teams, Ryland competed at a NSW MacKillop level and demonstrated a high level of sportsmanship. Congratulations and well done Ryland.
