PB4L
Welcome back to school! We hope you and your child/ren are settling in well and have had a positive start to the new school year!
The children have settled into their classroom routines and procedures well and have made an excellent start to their learning this year.
One of our school rules at Nazareth is that we are all respectful. Last week, the PB4L focus was on what respect looks like, sounds like and feels like in the classroom. This week, we are focusing on how we can be respectful on the playground. The children are being taught how to show respectful behaviour on the playground through their:
-
Body language - stopping and looking at the person they are communicating with and maintaining personal space with the person they are communicating with.
-
Words - using positive language, using their manners when communicating with others, using the name of the person they are communicating with and answering when they are spoken to by someone else.
-
Actions - following the rules of the games they play with others, placing their rubbish in the bins and looking after and packing away the equipment they use.
