As the weeks of this Term unfold all families are reminded of the importance of children arriving to school on time to commence the day. Government legislation relating to school attendance also includes on time arrival of a morning. It is expected that children arrive at school prior to the morning assembly which commences at 8:25. If children arrive after 8:25, parents or carers are asked to accompany the children to the school office. If children arrive at the school office late without a parent or carer it will be recorded as unexplained late arrival.

The school has changed the student information system to COMPASS this term. The automated attendance notifications have commenced this week and please expect to see an email from school to notify you of an absence, the email includes a link to record the reason for your child’s absence. Within the next few weeks please expect some correspondence with information for setting up your parent portal. Should you have any questions, please contact the school office.

The school community wishes to extend thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of last week’s Mother’s Day breakfast, in particular the school thanks Vanessa Orlandi and the parents who catered for the breakfast. It was fantastic.
