PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

As referenced in the last newsletter I am pleased to invite all Grandparents, Great Grandparents and those that are like Grandparents to spend time at Nazareth school next Wednesday May 25. All are invited to attend Mass with the children in the All Saints church commencing at 9:00 am. At the conclusion of Mass whilst still in the church all grandparents and great grandparents will be acknowledged and then invited to morning tea in the Hall.

Following morning tea grandparents and great grandparents will be able to visit the classrooms. This will be the first time we have been able to conduct Grandparent’s Day for several years and the school is excited to be able to welcome our special guests.

For those guests who may require assistance due to restricted mobility, following Mass if necessary, guests could be driven from the church car park area to the staff car park area immediately adjacent to the school. Guests may enter the school near the front office area, have morning tea in the Library then visit classrooms. Please note that the majority of guests will have morning tea in the Hall however the school will ensure there is sufficient assistance for those who may require it. To assist with organisation, could you register attendance at the Grandparent's Day.

Last Sunday morning the new Early Learning Centre was official opened by Bishop Brian Mascord Bishop of Wollongong and Mr Michael Austin Director of Catholic Care. Many local parishioners were able to be present along with invited guests and families who are enrolled in the Early Learning Centre.

Congratulations and thanks to Olivia Sarin (Year 5 student) who played the keyboard as part of the opening ceremony.

Refer to additional details for the Early Learning Centre in this newsletter.

Enjoy the week ahead.
