Confirmation

A reminder that Confirmation workshops will begin in Week 6 for students making the Sacrament of Confirmation this year.  Students must be Year 6 or older and must have been baptised.  Parents should have now completed their workshop preferences and a list will be sent out confirming chosen preferences.  Workshops will run Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at either 3 pm or 5 pm in the Hall.

Class Masses

We have reintroduced Class Masses for 2022.  With restrictions now lifted, all classes will participate in a weekly Wednesday mass at 9 am on a rotating basis.  This week Year 2 attended Wednesday Mass.  Next Wednesday we are celebrating Grandparents Day with mass at 9 am for the whole school.  We welcome any parents, family members or friends to join us at any of the Wednesday masses. 

Mini Vinnies

Mini Vinnies is a group of students here at Nazareth who meet each Wednesday at Recess. They hold, contribute to and discuss ideas for fundraisers and also encourage students and parents to find Jesus and God in their everyday lives. The money that we raise for our fundraisers goes towards the St Vincent De Paul Society and many other societies like this, to help people that are less fortunate. Mini Vinnies are now currently working on ‘Waste free Wednesday’. Students that have no packaged foods in their lunch boxes, will receive a token for their house colours. We’re looking forward to watching our ideas come into play!  Olivia Sarin - Mini Vinnies Member
