In Year 5, we have been learning about the Catholic Church’s story in Australia. From the arrival of the convicts and early settlers, to what the Church looks like here today.

We have learnt about significant people and events, as well as their contribution to building the Catholic Church community.

We have particularly enjoyed learning about our diocese, the Diocese of Wollongong, led by Bishop Brian Mascord. We have explored the role of our Bishop and many others. Today our learning culminated in a very intense and excitable Kahoot game.
