Congratulations

Congratulations to Sonny Dafkovski in 1S for taking part in the MS Readathon. Sonny read as many books as he could in August to raise funds to fund vital support services for people living with multiple sclerosis.

Altogether Sonny raised $1077.00 and read 63 books. We are very proud of Sonny! What a fantastic effort!

Special Vistors to Year 2

On Wednesday the 7th of September students from Corpus Christi brought 7 senior citizens to visit Year 2. During this time, students read to and with our special guests and then had an opportunity to draw one of the senior citizens. The students had a great time chatting to the special guests, asking them about their lives and having a laugh with new friends. Here are some of our experiences:

Layla - We enjoyed spending time with our special visitors. 

Alex - I learnt that when Bob came to our desk that he likes to read murder mystery books

Aubrey - I learned that Vicki loves drawing swirls. 

Zach - I especially enjoyed drawing Bob.

Saxon - I learned that Marie has a granddaughter in year 2 at Stella Maris.
