At the end of last Term the school hosted a visit from the Director of Schools Mr Peter Turner. Mr Turner spent time in a number of classrooms met with the Student Representative Council and had morning tea with the staff. He was very affirming of the school and noted in particular the school’s positive learning culture.
Special thanks to the staff and students who were involved in the organisation the facilitation of events at the end of Term 2 including: Year 6 Night of the Notables, the whole school STEM Day, the Beanie Scarf and Sock Day (Vinnies Winter Appeal) and the NAIDOC Week activities.
I encourage you to read the information included in this week’s newsletter detailing an excellent initiative that Nazareth has been involved with promoting the teaching profession.
Enjoy the week ahead

Please find the collection box in the library.
STICKY BEAKS FUNDRAISER
Thank you for all of your support in ordering sticky beaks lunch bags. We have submitted the order and should have it very soon. We thank you for your patience.
At the end of last term, KN learnt about the Mass.
We learnt about the signs and symbols of the Catholic tradition. We explored our church and looked at key objects in it such as the altar, lectern, tabernacle, presider’s chair, baptismal font, crucifix, and paschal candle.
This term in our RE lessons, we have started to explore the bible story of Abraham and Sarah. It is a story about promise and trust so we looked at times when we have made a promise to someone.
