Following last week’s Nazareth P&F AGM the following people have accepted executive roles for 2021:
- President - Vanessa Orlandi
- Vice-President – Simone Ivanovski
- Secretary – Rosemary Stutz
- Treasurer – Craig Lonard
- Diocesan Delegate – Tara Teo
On behalf of the school community I wish to thank each of these people for their preparedness to hold an executive position. I look forward to working with each of them and the whole parent community throughout the course of this year.
I also extend my thanks to those who attended last week’s P&F meeting and in particular I thank those present for their excellent feedback and general contribution to the discussion associated with morning drop off and afternoon pick up procedures.
As previously communicated the school is moving toward amending the afternoon dismissal arrangements. I will update all parents/carers as soon as possible. In the meantime I thank everyone for your cooperation and patience. For those that utilize the afternoon pick procedures I remind everyone that we share a collective responsibility to ensure everyone’s safety. Please adhere to road rules and parking regulations and if you approach the school vicinity of an afternoon and there is obvious traffic congestion drive on for 5 – 10 mins then return.
A reminder to parents/carers that of a morning you are very welcome to enter the school grounds via the front gates off Glider Ave. Parents/carers may remain in the playground area until the children assemble and walk into class.
Congratulations to the children from our All Saints parish who received the sacrament of Penance this week.
Take care and enjoy the week ahead.
