The school’s Cyclic Review process is now complete with the report being finalised and signed off by the Director of Schools Mr Peter Turner. The Review Team (which met with parents, students and staff last Term) have made the following recommendations to guide the school’s strategic planning:
- Continue to promote understanding of Ignatian spirituality with students, families and staff as an authentic way of embodying the school’s vision and mission;
- Build on the existing vibrant collaborative staff culture to embed the Collaborative Inquiry approach (work associated with Dr Lyn Sharret)
- Develop processes and structures to monitor the effectiveness of the implementation of Agreed Teaching Practices and Collaborative Inquiry; and
- Continue to develop relationships with the Principals of the two other Catholic schools located in the All Saints Parish precinct, Stella Maris Catholic Primary School and Corpus Christi Catholic High School, to build shared staff commitment, effective transition processes and capacity to provide religious leadership in the region.
As discussed at the last P&F meeting the above noted recommendations will be the basis of the school’s ongoing School Review and Improvement process.
Enjoy the week ahead

Last week we acknowledged World Environment Day by joining in the #Beatairpollution.
Air Pollution is a serious global issue, and this year the World Health Organisation encouraged everyone world-wide to think about their impact on our air. Did you know 97 out of 193 countries have increased their use of cleaner burning fuels? Unfortunately 3 billion people still need to make the change.
In 6R we created our own air pollution masks and posted them to SeeSaw, as our way of spreading the word.

In year 4 we have been learning about Pentecost. The Holy Spirit gives us courage in the same way the Spirit gave the disciples courage. Over the past week, we have discussed what courage is and when we need courage in our lives. All students have had the opportunity to reflect and pray for someone in their life who needs courage. 4A have also enjoyed recreating their own version of the story 'The Holy Spirt comes at Pentecost' through role play. Year 4 are excited to host the Pentecost prayer celebration on Monday 17th June.
